Holly is a very affectionate girl who loves attention. She's super friendly and waggy with everyone and gets on just fine with other dogs. She gets really playful and loves to chase a tennis ball. She's an ex-racer so will need to learn her housetraining and some other basics but she's showing huge potential and we believe she'll make a perfect family dog.
Type of home needed
Holly would love to find a new family who will be patient with her as she gets used to a new life in a home. She'll reward you with endless love and loyalty! An enclosed garden will help with her housetraining. She will need to live with another similar dog as she struggles being by herself and she'd be great with children over 10. She will need a long settling in period where she cannot be left and will likely need to sleep in her owners bedroom initially. Once she's settled in her new routine you will be able to very gradually build up her confidence at being left alone but this must be done in her own time.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
