Duke has lived in a home previously and was housetrained and good to travel in the car. He would prefer a home where he doesn't have to be left alone for very long.
Type of home needed
Duke is a lively, bouncy boy who is looking for an active home. He is strong on the lead so will need owners who can manage him. He loves his toys and treats which can be used as part of his ongoing training. He will need to be the only pet in the home and would be better suited to a fairly rural area where he isn't going to come into contact with many dogs out and about. He could live with sensible children of 12 years or over who are confident around a large dog. He will need access to his own secure garden with at least 6ft fencing.
More about me
Duke is now available for rehoming so please contact the centre if you have a suitable home.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
