We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Jip is a cheeky young collie who is full of character and paw-tential. He takes a little while to come out of his shell, but when he does he enjoys a fuss. Jip enjoys spending time with other dogs and he would certainly love some canine companions to socialise with, but would like to be the only dog in the home. Some of Jip's favourite things are hot dogs, toys and fuss from his human friends. Jip is a clever boy who has shown lots of potential- he already knows hand touch and matt target and responds well to his name.

Type of home needed

Jip is a shy boy and needs patient adopters with experience of nervous dogs who will slowly introduce him to the big wide world and teach him lots of new things. Jip's adopters will need to give him all his training and get him used to home life. He is looking for a quiet home in an area with minimal traffic and he can live with children aged over 16. Jip is looking for adopters who will be with him for most of the time as he doesn't enjoys being left alone. This boy loves the outdoors so will need access to a secure garden with 6ft fencing where he can play in.

More about me

If Jip sounds like the pawfect addition to your family please get in touch and we will email you a homefinding questionnaire to complete and return to us. Also please be aware that we are dealing with many enquiries for the dogs as they become available and you will only hear back from us if we are able to proceed with your interest. All other application forms will be shredded to comply with the rules of GDPR. You will need an email address and we will conduct a home visit via video so you must be comfortable with the technology used. In keeping with current government guidelines we are unable to rehome to those that are vulnerable or self-isolating.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
