Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing.

We kindly ask that you don’t visit, or travel to, our centres. We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you’re matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

We’re experiencing unprecedented interest in adoption, so please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

Likes

Chester is a 3 year old fun and active Terrier X. Chester would love an active family who can take him on lots of adventures, play with his favourite toys and provide a safe area he can rest and relax in.

Type of home needed

Chester will need an adult only home where someone can be around for most of the day. Chester can have walking buddies out on walks but he'll need to be the only dog in the home. Due to his high chase drive he cannot live with cats or small furries, and must be muzzled and kept on a lead during his walks. Chester would love a secure garden to relax and play in.

More about me

Chester will need to be walked in quieter areas away from busy areas as he has a history of chasing traffic. We would like Chester's new family to be able to visit him several times at the centre before going home.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
