Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

Introducing the wonderfully smart and charismatic Bailey! Bailey has been waiting a while in centre for his forever home, as he didnt have a great start to his rescue journey and has had to work hard in training to get build up his confidence. He has lots of potential and now just needs the opportunity to flourish. He loves his food, toys and chasing his ball!

Type of home needed

Bailey's ideal owners would either be experienced with fearful dogs, or at least have a peaceful/patient home and want to learn. We are looking for owners to be within half hour of the centre and available to visit multiple times in the week, so we can teach you everything we've taught him! A rural home would be ideal, or just somewhere away from busy roads. Bailey will require an adult only home with no other pets; he has met other dogs, but can be worried so will require further confidence building. Bailey kindly asks for his own secure, private garden with at least 6ft fencing.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from Dogs Trust Kenilworth, West Midlands.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
