I'm looking for a new home...

About Titan

2 to 5 Years

Titan is 3-year-old Collie, who was handed over to us. He is a super sweet, intelligent boy who likes to keep active! Titan can be a little nervous around new people initially but quickly gains confidence after a game of hide and seek with tennis balls! He is a switched-on boy who would love a job to do and would thrive in a home who are passionate about training.

Type of home needed

We are looking for an active, adult only new home for Titan that can provide him with both the physical exercise and mental stimulation that he needs. This home should be located in quiet or/and rural location as he can be scared by noises, and he will need a private, secure garden so he has somewhere safe to play and relax. His adopters should be prepared to continue his training programmes that he has started here at the centre. He is currently working on his veterinary handling, muzzle training, traveling in the car, reaction to traffic and crate training. He will need to be kept on lead and muzzled whilst out in public. Titan could live with another dog, or he could be an only dog. He cannot live with cats or small furries.

More about me

Ideally there will be minimal visitors to the house especially whilst Titan is settling in. He will need a visitor programme put in place, so he can feel safe when people do come over - We may consider homes with visiting children but only providing the children are kept separate from Titan whilst they are over - He has the potential to be left for a couple of hours but only if this time has been built up slowly and once he has settled - Titan knows most of his basic training and has history of being housetrained, however he will probably need a recap and may potentially scent mark initially -To apply for Titan please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Newbury Rehoming Centre in Berkshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
