I'm looking for a new home...

About Macey

2 to 5 Years

Macey is an absolutely stunning girl! She adores toys and playing brain games. Macey has made lots of human friends at the centre but does not like children or elderly males. She is very particular about which dogs she will tolerate but will usually ignore them and do her own thing if she can. Macey will need to be exercised on lead and wearing a muzzle, which she is currently being trained to be comfortable in. Macey finds the home environment tricky due to all the strange sounds she doesn't seem to be accustomed to.

Type of home needed

Macey is looking for a quiet rural home with no resident or visiting children. She will need to be the only pet and would love her own private garden to run around in as she will need to be on lead in public. A collie experienced home would be perfect, but she would definitely love to have owners who enjoy training. Macey will need help settling in to the home environment so patient owners are a must.

More about me

Macey will benefit from meeting her new owners here at the centre, rather than the 'handover at home' process. New owners will need to be willing to travel to the centre to complete the rehoming process.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Harefield Rehoming Centre in London.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
