I'm looking for a new home...

About Fleet

2 to 5 Years

Fleet has lived in a home previously and was housetrained and good to be left alone for an hour or two. He was also good to travel in the car.

Type of home needed

Fleet is a sweet, misunderstood boy who is looking for a quiet but active home with patient owners who are willing to continue working on his training. He absolutely LOVES his toys and is quite happy entertaining himself. He also likes having a crate or a safe space to retreat to when he is feeling scared. He will need an adult only home with no visiting children and minimal visitors as this makes him uncomfortable. When Fleet gets to know you he can become tactile but he does prefer a hands off approach which new owners will need to be accepting of. He will also need to live in a quiet location with the option for quiet walking areas. He will need to be walked with a muzzle on. Fleet will need to be the only pet in the home and will need further socialisation with dogs. It is essential that there will be no neighbouring dogs and Fleet will need his own, secure garden with a minimum 6ft fencing. Potential adopters will need to visit the centre several times so Fleet can build a bond with the before he goes home.
