Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Rodney

2 to 5 Years

Rodney is a 2-year-old Lurcher. To apply to rehome me please click on the "Rehoming me starts here" button below. Applications will close once I have found my perfect match. He is a handsome boy who is happy to say hello and enjoy a gentle fuss and he does love a treat or two.

Type of home needed

Rodney has a strong desire to chase small furries for this reason he will be muzzled out on his walks which he is more than happy with. He is looking for experienced owners who have owned similar dogs in the past. Rodney is strong on his lead and will need owners who can physically manage his strength on lead. Rodney would like an adult only home and is looking to be the only pet in the home.

More about me

Rodney would like his own garden where he can spend time off lead enjoying time with his family. He is a friendly and loving boy who is happy to jump in the car to go to new places to explore. Rodney would like to meet his new owners a few times to build a relationship or if you think you could foster him to live in your home whilst he looks for his forever home, please get in touch.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our West Calder Rehoming Centre in Edinburgh.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
