We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Theo is a 5 year old SBT. To apply to rehome me please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match. Theo can be a little shy and unsure of new people but will slowly make friends with some patience and a yummy treat or two. Once he gets to know you he enjoys getting a gentle pet or scratches behind his ear. Theo is very uncomfortable around children so will need an adult only home. Theo is happy to say hello to other dogs while out on a walk but would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

Type of home needed

Theo is looking for a quiet home with very few visitors. He is an active boy that would love his own garden and someone who is around most of the day to help keep him company. Theo needs owners who have experience of owning a nervous dog before, he would like somone calm, gentle and patient, who can help build his confidence at home.

More about me

Theo enjoys running around playing with his toys especially a tennis ball or a ragger, he is lots of fun to be around and always eager to learn new tricks. Theo would need someone who can come to the centre several times to build a friendship with him before going to his new home. currently available for rehoming as I would like to meet my new family a few times before I go home.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.
