Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Suzie

5 to 7 Years

Suzie is a sweet girl who can be very worried about life. She is looking for patient adopters who can dedicate the time she needs to settle in at her own pace and build a trusting relationship. It is likely to be quite a while before Suzie feels comfortable in her new home and she will need a hands off approach to begin with and be given the space to explore her new home in her own time - the more space you give her initially, the more quickly she will trust you. She likes to have a safe place to go to, ideally a sofa as this is where she feels most comfortable, where she can be left alone without any pressure to interact. She will need to be offered food and water intially as she may not move herself to get them. She will need a secure garden with at least 5 ft fencing and She will need to be encouraged into the garden for toilet breaks using food and vocal encouragement until she is happy doing this herself. She will start exploring in her own time, once she has had a chance to settle in.

Type of home needed

Suzie is looking for quite a specific home environment as we know it's something she can begin to feel comfortable in; she will need a open plan downstairs and must have access to the house through the garden as will not go through a single front door. The area and home environment should be quiet with immediate access to quiet walks. She will need a home with a maximum of 2 people and no one younger than 16. There will need to be no visitors to the home until Suzie is fully settled. Suzie is such a lovely girl and in the right home, with calm and patient adopters, we know she can grow in confidence and become a loyal companion.

More about me

To apply to rehome me, please click on the "Rehoming Me Starts Here" button below. If you live in rented accomodation, you will need to have landlord permission, please have this in writing before applying.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Snetterton Rehoming Centre in Norfolk.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
