Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

I'm looking for a new home...

Likes

Rex is a handsome boy who likes a little fuss and affection with those he knows but also appreciates having his own space. Rex loves a game of fetch! He has bags of energy and heaps of potential, he also finds food very rewarding so would benefit from a home who want to spend time teaching him new tricks in addition to his current collection of skills. He already knows how to 'Sit' 'Lie down' and has some target training under his belt. The way to his heart is through toys, games and treats. If you allow Rex to get comfortable with you at his own pace, he will prove to be a very loyal companion.

Type of home needed

Rex is looking to find an adult only home as the only pet. He is a bright lad with lots of energy who would suit an active home where he has a secure garden to run in and would benefit from additional training to keep him busy. Rex is looking for an adopter who wants to go on lots of walks and adventures with him. Rex has been introduced to his muzzle gradually and positively during training sessions and is comfortable wearing it. Rex wears his muzzle in certain settings and his new adopters will be shown how to use the muzzle by the centre behaviour team.

More about me

If Rex sounds like the pawfect addition to your family please get in touch and we will email you a homefinding questionnaire to complete and return to us. Also please be aware that we are dealing with many enquiries for the dogs as they become available and you will only hear back from us if we are able to proceed with your interest. All other application forms will be shredded to comply with the rules of GDPR. You will need an email address and we will conduct a home visit via video so you must be comfortable with the technology used. In keeping with current government guidelines we are unable to rehome to those that are vulnerable or self-isolating.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
