Our very own Sherlock is trying to solve the mystery of why he has not got a home of his own. He is an active boy who enjoys going on adventures and quiet, interesting walks where he can sniff for clues! He loves food and enjoys learning new things and would love his new family to have an interest in continuing his reward-based training with him. Sherlock is a clever boy and already knows "Sit", "Down", "Paw", "Wait" and is housetrained. Once he knows you, he enjoys a fuss and a game of fetch and would love a secure garden where he can zoom around and play.

Type of home needed

Sherlock can be unsure around other dogs; he would like to live in a relatively quiet home as the only pet. Once settled, he would benefit from some training to help him feel more comfortable around other dogs - our training team can give his family some tips on this. He loves being with people and struggles when left, his new family will need to be around most of the time to help him find his paws and settle into his new home. He could live with older children aged 16 plus who can appreciated he may not want fuss all the time.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Snetterton Rehoming Centre in Norfolk.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
