Tilly is an 8 year old Chihuahua cross Boston Terrier, looking for a home with her sister, Lulu. This adorable duo have been together all through their lives and would love nothing more than to continue their journey together. Though both friendly and affectionate once they know you, Lulu is the more sensitive of the two and often looks to her sister for reassurance. Both ladies always like to know where one another are, and enjoy curling up next to each other in bed. Equally, they love to sit upon the lap of their people pals or snuggling up next to them on the sofa.

Type of home needed

Despite their sociable characters, Lulu and Tilly tend to get easily overwhelmed when faced with unfamiliarity. Loud or sudden noises, busy places and people knocking at the door are all things that can be worrying for them. Due their sensitivities in these areas, they will be unsuitable to live in a block of flats and would best be suited to a quieter home environment, where there's not too much going on around them. Peaceful walks in less-frequented areas would also be ideal, and it is recommended to build their familiarity to new places, rather than taking them for lots of varied adventures. A secure garden of their own is essential for times when they may not wish to walk out and about. Other than spending time with one another, the girls would rather not interact with other canines. They are unable to share their home with any other dogs, cats, house rabbits, guinea pigs or other small furry pets. The youngest members of their family and any visitors will need to be over the age of 16.

More about me

Having never been left alone in their previous home, Lulu and Tilly find it worrying when their humans leave them. They would love to find a family who are around most of the time at home to spend time with them, and only gradually build up the times they leave them once they are fully settled into their new routine. They are currently living in a temporary foster home and have already proven themselves to be the most wonderful houseguests, so we are certain that they will make for lovely companions to their new family.
