Brock is a young, charismatic German Shepherd with an active nature. Despite his zest-for-life, Brock also has a sensitive side and can feel unsure when meeting new people, so introductions must be at his own pace. Once you've taken the time to build up his trust, he's very interactive, has a lot of love to give and will make for a loyal companion. Brock's favourite pastimes are playing a game with his toys, participating in reward-based training and settling down with a long-lasting chew.
Type of home needed
Brock highly values the relationships he makes with people, so can find it worrying when he's left alone. He's looking for an adult-only household, living with a maximum of three people, where there is always someone around to keep him company. His new home must be situated in a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of busy, high-populated areas. Due to his insecurities around strangers and other dogs, Brock will need to be taken to quiet walks and he will need a garden of his own. He can be strong on his lead so his new owners must be confident and able to manage his size and strength. He must be the only pet at home.
More about me
Brock will make a wonderful companion to experienced and dedicated owners who can allow him the time he needs to settle into home life, while providing him with consistency. In line with current government guidelines, we can open to the public through a limited, appointment-only basis. Please call us to register your interest in Brock, and if it seems you could be a match, you may be invited to our centre for an appointment to meet him. PLEASE NOTE: His new home must be within a two hour's drive to our Rehoming Centre, so that his new family can make regular visits to get to know him and work with us on his training.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
