We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Zeke is a very bright 4-year-old Collie cross. He is a fantastic dog that enjoys keeping busy! Whether that's playing with a ball or walking in quiet areas away form the hustle and bussle. He will need low impact exersise due to a medical ongoing medical condition, so a gentle walk with plenty to sniff would be perfect.

Type of home needed

Zeke is looking for an adult-only home in an area local to our rehoming centre, so that his potential owners can begin their relationship and receive guidance with his training over multiple sessions at the centre. He'd like to be the only pet in the household but is beginning to socialise with other dogs whilst out on his walks so can potentially have walking buddies with other friendly canines. His new home should be situated on a quiet road and with access to quiet walking areas by foot. He'd also like a good-sized garden where he can burn off some steam from time to time. Leaving him alone at home should be built up gradually whilst he settles into his new environment. Zeke will also need his very own room indoors, somewhere he can go when visitors come around.

More about me

You will be pleased to know that Zeke is now available for adoption, but he will need to meet his new family multiple times before he goes home. In line with current government guidelines, we can open to the public through a limited, appointment-only basis. If you think you could offer Zeke a home, please call us to register your interest. If it seems you could be a match, you may be invited to our centre for an appointment to meet him. Please note: You must live within an hour's drive to our Rehoming Centre.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
