Meet Sully! He's a super special dog who has stolen the heart's of his carers here at Shoreham. This gentle-natured chap may be considered a senior at 10-years-old, but he still has a spring in his step and plenty of love to offer a family. Sully adores running about with his toys, exploring on peaceful walks and snoozing the day away on a cosy bed after a day of fun activities! He's also incredibly smart and knows a variety of tricks that he is ever keen to show off in return for tasty treats.

Type of home needed

Despite his fun-loving character, Sully also has a sensitive side and likes to take things slow when making friends with new people. Once he knows you well, he'll highly value the quality time he spends with you but will always prefer less tactile forms of interaction, rather than lots of cuddles! Sully requires an adult-only household with minimal visitors and he'll need to be the only pet at home. Lacking in a little general confidence, Sully can become easily overwhelmed when faced with loud or unfamiliar noises. We'd love to find him a family who lead a quieter lifestyle, living in a home that is situated away from the hustle and bustle of busy neighbourhoods, town centres or loud roads. His very own 'quiet room' or undisturbed area of the house, where he can go to enjoy food-based enrichment in peace would be ideal.

More about me

Understanding adopters who won't put too much pressure on Sully, but who could dedicate lots of their time to him and support him with some of his training would be a dream come true.
