I'm looking for a new home...

About Vilma

8 and over

Vilma is a very friendly 11 year old medium sized Dachshund cross. Please don't be put off by her age as she is still full of beans! She loves to be around people so is looking for a home with owners who are around most of the time to give her the company she craves.

Type of home needed

Vilma would love an active home where she can go on nice, quiet walks away from lots of hustle and bustle. She isn't a big fan of other dogs so her new owners must be happy to walk her on lead and wearing her muzzle. She will need her own, secure garden for offlead playtime - she loves her toys but hasn't quite mastered how to bring them back once you've thrown them! Vilma can live with teenagers aged 16 and above, and would prefer to be the only pet in the home so she gets all the attention! Being an older girl Vilma is on some tablets for her joints so new owners need to be aware of ongoing costs.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Salisbury Rehoming Centre in Wiltshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
