Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Bram, he is definitely the star of the show! He steals the attention in every room exuding personality and bundles of energy. His brain is his superpower, learning new tricks and solving puzzles really gets him going. His favourite game is using the flirt pole, and the chase and tug is great for burning off some of that energy as well as teaching him some impulse control. He is a sociable boy with both people and dogs, however, can forget himself and his manners in certain situations. We know Bram finds it difficult to settle and can get muddled between what behaviour is appropriate and what isn't. He has worked really hard at the centre to try and work on those energy bursts and be a true gentleman when making a new friend, both two or four legged.

Type of home needed

Bram would love adopters that are keen explorers & wanting a companion for their adventures. Any adopter lucky enough to rehome Bram would ideally want a dog that they could work through various training such as agility, scent work, obedience & any other tricks they can think of. With Bram, the possibilities are endless. He is already learning to drop his toys in a toy box! Bram would love a secure garden of his own to show off his new skills and follow his nose to find his favourite food reward (hot dogs). As we mentioned, Bram can forget his manners on occasion so feel he would be better suited to a home with adults only that are familiar with the more enthusiastic type.

More about me

Bram is trying really hard to work on his impulse control and learning the polite way to make new friends with both people and dogs. He is doing us proud however, will need to continue this training in his new home. Bram is a SBT X Shepherd. We will only arrange an appointment for you to meet this dog once we have received your completed Homefinding Questionnaire, spoken with you on the phone, completed your home check and both parties have agreed this could be the right dog for you. Please contact us on 01980 629 634 to request a questionnaire and start the process.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
