To apply to rehome me please click on the 'come and meet me' button below. Applications will close when we have found a suitable match. Casper is a handsome big chap and our 3-legged friend, who has been in kennels far too long and is in need of a retirement home. He is 13 years old and as much as he enjoys playing with his toys (especially squeaky ones) he enjoys relaxing much more. He is a very clever cookie! He can sit, give paw, walk backwards, leave items, and hand target! All very impressive.
Type of home needed
Casper is looking for a calm adult-only home with experience of rescue dogs. He needs time & space to settle & would appreciate someone being home with him most of the day as he doesn't like being left alone. He likes to walk with his doggy friends but in the home prefers to be the only pet. He loves to sunbathe so having a secure garden is a must! Casper would like to meet his new owners a few times at the centre before rehoming.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
