Chester is a 6 year old Spaniel cross, he loves to be out exploring and investigating on his walks which makes scent work and finding games great for this active boy. He is a sweet boy who needs some time to get to know you as he can be worried by new people but once you start to engage with him he soon makes friends.
Type of home needed
Chester is looking for a quiet household with as few visitors as possible. Chester would benefit from having a room or safe space of his own to help him settle in at his own pace away from any visitors. Chester loves brain games and this will ongoing training he needs in the home. Once settled he could potentially be left for a few hours in the home. He will need a secure private garden with 6ft fencing.
More about me
PLEASE NOTE: We are currently not open to the public and will not be beginning any new rehoming processes, but please email In line with Government advice we have temporarily paused rehoming activity, and due to staff capacity within our centres, we are not registering interest from new adopters at the moment. We have been overwhelmed by the number of people who would like to give one of our dogs a home, and we are looking ahead to new ways that will allow us to start your rehoming journey with us, but we are not there yet. Please keep an eye on our website and social media, and we will update you as soon as we have more news.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
