Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

Skye is a 6yr old Collie X Husky, who came into us through no fault of her own. Being half Collie and Half Husky, she is both very intelligent and active. She likes to be on the go, keeping that large brain stimulated, working for tasty treats! Once you get to know Skye she is a very affectionate girl and loves cuddles.

Type of home needed

Skye is looking for a home with secure garden, so she has somewhere to safely play and relax off lead. She can be vocal when she hears noises such as doors, gravel etc, so her new home will need to take into consideration their location and neighbours etc. She would benefit from someone who is interested in training and who will be able to provide her with enough physical and mental exercise. Adopters will need to continue training her to walk nicely on lead (VERY STRONG) and improving her dogs' skills. Skye could potentially be left for up to 2 hours, providing this time is built up slowly and once she has settled. She can be a little worried by new people, ideally her new home will need limited visitors until she has settled, and a plan has been put in place to make her feel safe. Skye cannot live with another dog, other than Rain.

More about me

Could live with children aged 14 or over - Cannot live with cat or small furries - Very strong on lead and has strong breed traits - Is currently on diet as a little porky, so exercise will need to built up slowly whilst she loses weight - Travels well in car - Is housetrained - WE WOULD LOVE TO REHOME SKYE WITH HER SISTER RAIN, however we understand that adopting 2 high energy Collie x Husky isn't for everyone, so we are also taking individual interest. To apply for Skye please click on the 'Rehoming me start here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found.
