We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

To apply to rehome me please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match. Lillie is an 8 year old beagle who is looking for owners that have plenty of Beagle experience, or that have trained dogs previously who steal and guard food and other items around the home. Food is extremely important to Lillie so new owners will need to be prepared follow multiple training programmes and with support from our behaviour team on how to manage this in her new home.

Type of home needed

Lillie is looking for a quiet adult only home, she could live with another well-adjusted dog who doesn't value resources too highly. Lillie is a very independent dog who would prefer to sit on a sofa by herself rather than next to her owners. She would prefer owners that can be home all the time, but leaving time can be improved if her crate training is continued. Lillie would like owners that can keep her active as she just loves being out and about exploring.

More about me

Lillie needs a home with a secure garden with a minimum of 6ft fencing. Although Lillie has her Basic training perfected, she does require multiple ongoing training programmes which will be a project for her new family so they must be prepared to take this on.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Lillie, who is based at Newbury (Berkshire). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
