I'm looking for a new home...

About Peanut

2 to 5 Years

Peanut is a sweet and sensitive 4 year old staffy cross looking for her new home. This girl can find the world quite an overwhelming place so would like a quiet home to settle her paws. This gorgeous girl has stolen the hearts of all her handlers here at the centre and will shower you with love and affection once she knows you. She is a very playful girl and absolutely loves her stuffed toys! When Peanut feels overwhelmed she can mouthe a lot, this has been seen both in kennels and a home environment, so adopters will need to feel comfortable dealing with this. She is looking for adopters who would like a project dog.

Type of home needed

Peanut's new home must be in a rural area, she struggles with noisy environments and we have found quiet areas away from this is where she feels most comfortable and helps reduce her mouthing. Due to this she is a dog that is likely to spend most of her time in her garden or using secure fields as she will not benefit from walks. For this reason, she will need adopters with a large private secure garden that has 6ft fencing and no neighbouring dogs. Peanut is looking for a home with adults only and wouldn't suit any visiting children. It would be best for visitors to be kept to a minimum and the home should have the ability to seperate her when anyone does come round. Peanut is uncomfortable around other dogs and gets frustrated when she can hear/see them. She will need to be the only pet in the home and must be kept on lead in public places.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Manchester Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
