Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Peanut

2 to 5 Years

Peanut is a fantastic 3-year-old crossbreed looking for a very active home to keep up with her energy levels. Peanut is a super lively girl who loves getting loads of fuss and attention from the people she knows. She is a very playful girl but can get over excited playing certain games! This can unfortunately result in her mouthing, so adopters will need to feel comfortable dealing with this. She would love to go on lots of long adventures and hops straight in the car and is great while travelling. Peanut has been under socialized with other dogs meaning she doesn't know how to interact with them appropriately so this will take some training in the home.

Type of home needed

Peanut is looking for a home with adults only that would also like an active dog to keep up with them! She will need her own medium/large private secure garden with minimum 6ft fencing so she has her own area to play and feel comfortable in whilst settling. As Peanut is undersocialised around dogs and can get frustrated easily when she sees them she will need walks to be in low dog populated areas and to be kept on lead around them. She has managed to walk nicely alongside some dogs but will need adopters to feel comfortable continuing her dog socialisation. She will need to be the only pet in her new home. Breed experience is preferable but if not some research into bullbreeds should be done first.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Manchester Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
