I'm looking for a new home...

About Tilly

2 to 5 Years

Tilly is a 2 year old Collie who has become a firm favourite with her handlers here at the centre. She is a typical Collie who loves being active and on the go and has a real passion for tennis balls! Tilly is super smart and thrives off training and she enjoys meeting and mixing with other dogs too. She greets her favourite people with a waggy tail and is sure to put a smile on your face! Once she is comfortable with you Tilly enjoys a fuss but she would much rather be playing with her toys or using her brain. She is happy to jump in the car to travel to a quiet area for a good run around and once she has had a good blast, she enjoys having a roll around in the grass and sunbathing! Tilly is a sensitive girl and she will be an ongoing project but she has tonnes of love to give and truly is an amazing little lady!

Type of home needed

Tilly must go to live as an outdoor dog and she must have an outdoor, heated living space such as a kennel or an outhouse. She is not to live in the main house. Tilly needs an adult only home with no visiting children as she has shown aggression in the past. She can live with another dog to play with and socialise however they cannot share the same living space. Tilly needs adopters who have experience of Collies as she shows a lot of strong breed traits and they need to be very active to keep up with her! Her new family need to have a private, secure garden/area so Tilly can play off lead as she will need to be kept on lead at all times in public spaces. Tilly needs a home with minimal visitors and it needs to be away from busy roads as she is reactive to traffic.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Manchester Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
