Dobby is a 2 year old Chihuahua Pug cross looking for a quiet forever home where he can settle his paws. Dobby has been very worried here in kennels, but is a sweet boy once he gets to know you. He takes his time to get to know new people, so will need new owners willing to meet him multiple times here at the centre before taking him home. Once his trust is gained however, Dobby loves a cuddle and a fuss from his special human friends. He enjoys a few tasty treats, especially cheese which could be the way to his heart and running off lead as he is a busy little chap! Equally, Dobby does enjoy a nap, particularly in a snuggly duvet!
Type of home needed
Dobby is looking for a quiet household with minimal visitors. He needs a secure garden for his favourite off lead play and a new home where he can be separated from any visitors in a safe space as new people worry him. Dobby can lead walk at a distance with some dogs here at the centre, but dislikes other dogs approaching or sniffing him so must be the only dog in the home. He could potentially live with confident children aged 16 years or more, who are able to give him space when he needs it. Dobby also needs new owners who can spend plenty of time settling him into his new home and building his leaving hours gradually and at his pace.
More about me
If you have room in your heart and in your home for this lovely boy, why not give us a call? Please note that under the coronavirus restrictions we would do meets with Dobby at the centre following social distancing criteria.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
