We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Dee Dee is a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for an active home ready to welcome a very energetic girl! Dee Dee loves to be out and about and will be great for going to new places and having lots of adventures! She loves spending time with people, she can get very excited and may jump up, new owners need to be comfortable with this she does enjoy having a cuddle!

Type of home needed

Dee Dee will need her own secure garden to potter around in. She seems very uninterested in other dogs and can be avoidant, she has growled/snapped at dogs if they are too close behind her, she will need to be the only dog in the home. Any children in the home will need to be aged 14 and over and be comfortable with big bouncy dogs! Dee Dee is very nervous around heavy traffic and will need her new home to be away from busy roads. Dee Dee cannot live with other pets in the home.

More about me

Dee Dee is a sweet girl and ready to find her perfect home to settle into! Please note that under the coronavirus restrictions we would be doing meets with Dee Dee at the centre following social distancing criteria.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Deedee, who is based at Manchester. Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.
