Max is a 2 year old Staffy looking for a home that can offer him plenty of mental and physical stimulation and will be committed to his training. Max loves playing with his toys, especially squeaky ones. He's a very clever boy who has lots of potential, he loves to use his brain and learn new things, he's also really food motivated so this will be great for training. Max loves the company of his human friends so for this reason would like owners with minimal leaving hours initially.
Type of home needed
Max is looking for an active home so he can have lots of outlets for burning his energy. The home will need to have a secure garden and be non open plan so he can learn to love his own space. Max is reactive to other dogs so will need a home in a low dog populated area and have access to quieter walks so this can be his time to relax. Experience of Staffys would be desirable so his new adopters will be aware of the behaviours Max may show. Max can live with children aged 16 years and over but no young visitng children as he is quite boisterous. Due to Max needing ongoing training around other dogs he will need to be the only dog in the home. Max cannot live with other pets in the home.
More about me
Max has huge potential with the right training and is eager to learn and also very loving. If you could offer him a committed home please call us. Please note under the current coronavirus restrictions we will be doing meets with Max at the centre following social distancing criteria.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
