Meet Fuji! Fuji is a 4 year old Akita who has had a rough start to life and needs a patient home with time to settle her in! Fuji is an energetic girl who loves to be out and about! She loves her treats and although nervous of new people at first, with the use of treats she quickly builds her confidence.
Type of home needed
Fuji would like her own secure garden to burn off some energy and this will also help with housetraining. As she has been nervous of new people at first she would need minimal vistors to the home and the hosue to be non open plan so she can be separated if needed. Any children in the home need to be aged 14 and over who will respect her space. Fuji will need to be the only dog in the home as she can snap upclose and wants to pull over to them, she can be quite strong on the lead also. She will need some help building her confidence and focus around dogs. She would like her new home to have access to quiet walks at first.
More about me
Please contact the centre to find out more about this lovely girl! Please note under the current coronavirus restrictions we will be doing meets with Fuji at the centre following social distancing criteria.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
