True to his name, Pogo is a bouncy and exuberant boy! Top of Pogo's list of favourite things is toys, food and human company. He's still a youngster and loves to play, especially with a flirt pole or anything he can chase. Pogo is finding life in kennels a challenge but we're supporting him by expending his energy through mental and physical activities such as scent work, mixing with other dogs and fun enrichment! Pogo is a bright boy and is making progress with his training programmes to assist his transition into a new home. Those who know Pogo best see a really affectionate side to him and he loves fuss, he's a sweet boy but masks his anxieties with his excitable personality.
Type of home needed
Pogo is 11 months old and can live with adults only, a maximum of 3, and a well matched dog. Pogo needs a home where he will not be left, it's something he really struggles with and his owners will need to be understanding of this and willing to invest time in supporting him. He's already building a portfolio of basic training skills but would be eager to learn more! Pogo needs an adult only in a quiet environment away from too many busy roads. He needs a quiet household with limited visitors to help Pogo fulfil his potential. His new adopters will need to live within 1 hour of the centre.
