Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Rosie

1 to 2 Years

Rosie is a fabulous girl with bundles of personailty and enthusiasm. She has known worries around new people and dogs, so is looking for a family that are prepared to offer their time in building up a relationship with her, following our support and guidance to further support her in her socialisation moving forward. She has so much love to give and would be a beautiful adition to a family with interest or experience in positive reinforcment based training.

Type of home needed

Rosie is 1 1/2 years old and could with a maximum of 2 adults aged 18 years and over, but no other pets in her new home. Rosie is still learning new skills and needs to have regular training. The team at Dogs Trust Loughborough will give you all the information, support and advice you need to succeed at this. Rosie's favourite things are toys, food, enrichment, fuss and zoomies!

More about me

Rosie needs time to get to know her new family before she can go home. According to current government guidelines we can start the rehoming process remotely with Zoom and may also organise meets at the rehoming centre. If you are interested in applying to adopt Rosie, click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Rosie will be removed from the website when we have identified a potential match. If a suitable home isn't found, we will repost Rosie's profile on the website.

We do everything we can to provide essential care for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs who need us, now more than ever. If you'd like to help us during these challenging times, please make a donation. Your support means so much to us all, thank you.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Loughborough Rehoming Centre in Leicestershire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
