About
Taz
Likes
Taz is a bright, cheeky boy with a huge personality who is adored by all of the team that work with him! He loves nothing more than food and will do anything for a treat, which is great for all his training! Taz is fairly independent but will always interact with people when there's food involved, and does love a game of tug of war, bum scratch or even zoomies when the mood takes him!
Type of home needed
Taz is a 6 year old Bulldog who is looking for an adult only home with a maximum two adults, due to his need to form a good relationship with his new family. He can potentially live with securely caged small animals, but no other dogs or cats. Taz is the centre's resident couch potato and you will often find him more often than not snoozing the day away! He sometimes doesn't feel like going for a walk so is looking for a home with a reasonably sized secure garden for these days. When Taz does go out for a walk, he enjoys a slow potter and socialising with other dogs and will do the occasional zoom! Taz requires an area such as a conservatory or other downstairs room that he can call his own as he settles better when people aren't around, so having a separate area for him to go to is essential. He will need his new family around most of the time initially to help settle him in but once settled could be left for a few hours. Taz's new home will need to be 'Taz proofed' as he is able to open cupboard doors, drawers, bins and push doors - he is a very opportunistic boy!
More about me
Taz will be rehomed as a patchwork dog with a combination of behavioural and medical needs and is looking for a specific home who are prepared to work alongside our training team at the centre to help settle him into home life. He will require multiple meets to the centre along with home visits, so any potential adopters should live within 30 minutes of the centre.
