Tang is best known for his love of playing with tennis and footballs, chasing them between his paws! It takes a little while to build a strong relationship with him, but once you're in the club he'll lean into you for bum scratches and will happily give you any trick in return for a treat. Tang is very food and toy motivated which is great for all his ongoing training.

Type of home needed

7 year old Tang is looking for an adult only home with a maximum of 2 people and a secure garden for playtime. He can live with securely caged small animals but no cats or other dogs, although he would like to continue socialising with dogs out on walks. He has a good history of being left for a couple hours but will need some support building his time alone up again. This floofball is looking for an understanding family that can balance giving Tang the space he needs along with the best bum scratches, and he will require multiple meets at the centre to build a good relationship with his new family before going home. He has a lot to give his new family and we believe he will flourish in the right home set up!

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Loughborough Rehoming Centre in Leicestershire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
