Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Chubb

1 to 2 Years

Chubb is a real character who has lived in kennels for the majority of his life. He is looking for an understanding family that can help him transition into home life, puppy proofing may also be needed as he has been known to help himself to tasty things within his reach.

Type of home needed

Chubb is 1 year old and can live with adults aged 18 years and over, another similar sized, calm, dog but no other pets in his new home. Chubb finds it difficult to be on his own so will need company for the majority of the day whilst settling in. He will then need his leaving hours to be built up gradually at a pace that suits him. Chubb would enjoy a secure garden for his off-lead zoomies and to help with his house training.

More about me

If you're interested in applying to adopt Chubb, click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. We've got social distancing measures in place to ensure we keep our staff and adopters safe - we'll discuss all the details with you if your application is successful. Chubb will be removed from the website when we have identified a potential match. If a suitable home isn't found, we will repost Chubb's profile on the website.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Loughborough Rehoming Centre in Leicestershire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
