Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are closed to the public for general browsing. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

Cabra is looking for a home to hang up his racing boots! After spending his life in kennels he is a looking for a patient family to help him get used to all the home comforts he deserves. Someone around throughout the day to keep him company will really help with this big change as will a secure garden to help with his housetraining.

Type of home needed

Cabra is 2 1/2 years old and can live with young adults aged 15 years and over but no other pets in his new home. Cabra can be a little worried around other dogs and has probably not had much chance to socialise, so a home able to take him on quiet walks and slowly introduce him to other dogs would be beneficial.

More about me

We've got social distancing measures in place to ensure we keep our staff and adopters safe - we'll discuss all the details with you if your application is successful. If you're interested in applying to adopt Cabra, click on the 'come and meet me' button below. Cabra will be removed from the website when we have identified a potential match. If a suitable home isn't found, we will repost Cabra's profile on the website.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Cabra, who is based at Loughborough. Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We kindly ask that you don’t travel to or visit our rehoming centres.

We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you are matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

We’re experiencing unprecedented interest in adoption, so please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.
