Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

Chase

I'm looking for a new home...

These movie star looks belong to Chase, a 2 year old Collie cross. He can be a little worried when meeting new people but after a few minutes of walking alongside him, he will happily come to you for a fuss and is great when he's familiar with you. He's a smart lad who knows quite a few commands and will definitely benefit from living with a family who wants to work his brain even further.

Type of home needed

Chase is going to need an ADULT home. He guards soft furnishings such as bedding and cushions and this will need to be very carefully managed in his new home. He likes to control movements which is a typical Collie trait so some breed appropriate activities would be good for giving him an outlet for the need to herd. Chase enjoys the company of other dogs but takes a while to warm up to them if they're unfamiliar. Due to his guarding behaviours he will need to be the only dog in the home. He also needs his new home to be somewhere quiet, ideally rural, but with limited traffic and noise.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Merseyside Rehoming Centre in Liverpool.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
