Lovely Buster has been gathering himself an army of fans as he goes along. This sweet 11 year old boy is looking for a new home after his owner became increasingly more allergic to him and sadly had to give him up. He's a very gentle and quiet boy who likes to walk with the other dogs and is no bother at all. He'd love to find himself a new pal with a home he can retire to.

Type of home needed

Buster gets along well with other dogs but, unsurprisingly at his age, he does prefer the quieter ones. He'll happily be off lead with them and wander off to do his own thing, and we feel he would live with another dog quite happily. Buster is house trained and can be left alone for a couple of hours. He has limited experience with children but we think he'd be OK with calm kids around the age of 11.

We do everything we can to provide essential care for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs who need us, now more than ever. If you'd like to help us during these challenging times, please make a donation. Your support means so much to us all, thank you.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Merseyside Rehoming Centre in Liverpool.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
