10 year old Jack is an adorable little fella who has the honour of sitting comfortably behind the reception desk all day and getting spoiled by everybody walking through! Jack wasn't comfortable having a grandchild in the home so he's looking for new digs without any little youngsters. He's very sweet and will do anything for a Schmacko, and he's still an active dog who enjoys his walks.

Type of home needed

Jack is fine with older children so we'd advise those over 15 who will understand that he doesn't like sudden movements or being crowded. He will Jack prefers his own company rather than the company of other dogs. He can be noisy towards them when out on walks and is upset by them in neighbouring gardens. He has previously tried to dig under the fence to get to another dog so this is something to keep in mind. He is unlikely to live with a cat, he is house trained and can be left alone for a few hours, he'll just snooze.

More about me

Jack will be removed from the website once we have received 30 applications. If a suitable home isn't found, we will repost his profile on the website.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Jack, who is based at Merseyside (Liverpool). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We kindly ask that you don’t travel to or visit our rehoming centres.

We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you are matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

We’re experiencing unprecedented interest in adoption, so please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.
