Oscar is a gorgeous golden oldie and at 11 years, he's ready to find a new retirement home. He has a fondness for toast and Rich Tea biscuits, but he doesn't like loud noises. Oscar also enjoys lying in the sun and also likes the snow! He walks beautifully on his lead and is going to make someone a wonderful, gentle companion.
Type of home needed
Oscar is looking for a quiet home, free of young children so 14 and over would be best. He likes his own space and will come to you when he wants a fuss, but likes to be independent. When meeting other dogs Oscar can be a little timid, and wouldn't tolerate anything too playful. He is house trained and can be left alone for two or three hours.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
