Teddy has had a very difficult time of late. After being rescued from a fire and then being unable to stay with his family, he's understandably upset. He would love to find a family that has GSD experience, to help him enjoy life again. He's very friendly once he has a bond with you, and is very well behaved for you. He's super clever and knows lots of things, and in the right hands he'll do just fine.
Type of home needed
Teddy needs a home with no children, proven breed experience, and who won't rush him in to new situations until he is ready. He is tennis ball mad, this is definitely the way to his heart and a great basis for training. He has one or two doggy friends that he likes, but he will need to be introduced to friends very gradually, and to be the only dog in the home. He was previously housetrained.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
