I'm looking for a new home...

About Roger

8 and over

Bouncy Roger is a very playful chap, particularly when it comes to other dogs. He is very well mannered with his canine chums and very tolerant of the livelier ones! He's a friendly dog in general and although he's 10 years old now, he is used to having very long walks each day. Roger was with us a few years ago and is a recognisable chap, but sadly his owner passed away so he finds himself looking for a new friend.

Type of home needed

Roger is looking for a quiet household for his retirement. He isn't overly keen on being handled and can be aloof at times, so needs someone who will work alongside him rather than pushing him. Roger he hasn't been used to being alone much, so will need a family with someone at home most of the day. He is a huge fan of other dogs outside the house, but likes his own space when at home, so he'll be best suited to being the only dog at home, but with a wide social circle. Roger is housetrained and any children in his home will need to be aged 14 and over.

More about me

Cheeky Rog has jumped a 5 foot fence in the past so will need a secure garden, and he can open doors!

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Merseyside Rehoming Centre in Liverpool.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
