Jacob is a worried lad who hadn't seen anything of the world until he arrived at the centre, so he's had a lot to take in recently. He likes to be made a fuss of, though it might take him a minute to come around to you, and he's looking for patient adopters who will slowly introduce him to life. He loves to play, and squeakies and soft toys are his favourites.
Type of home needed
Jacob needs a quiet home, as too much going on will upset him and trigger his barking. He hasn't been living in an ideal environment up to now, so needs adopters to treat him as if he were a puppy, and put lots of basic training in. He isn't housetrained, nor is he used to walking on a lead. He'll need to be the only dog in the home, as he is scared of most other dogs, but can be gradually introduced to quiet walking pals, once he's confdent enough to go out.
