Charlie has lived in a home previously and was housetrained and good being left alone for a few hours. He was also good to travel in the car and walks beautifully on the lead.
Type of home needed
Charlie is a lovely boy but he does have a worried side when it comes to certain situations and certain people, particularly children. He is an independent boy who likes his own space, especially when resting. For this reason he will need a quiet home without children. He loves his food and treats and is quite happy with a bit of carrot or broccoli! He will need to be the only pet in his new home at the moment but may be able to walk alongside other dogs when out and about once he has gained a bit of confidence around them. Unfortunately he cannot live with cats or small furries. His new owners will need to be able to visit Charlie a few times at the centre before taking him home so that they can build up a relationship with him and they will need to live relatively close to the centre as home visits will be required. He will also need access to a room in the house that can be solely his due to his behavioural needs. He will also need access to his own secure garden in his new home.
More about me
I am now available for rehoming so please contact the centre if you have a suitable home.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
