Charlie is a real stunner! He's a beautiful boy who really wants to be loved but his past experiences have made him worried about meeting new people. Charlie needs the company of another dog to gain confidence and he will follow the other dog everywhere; seeing another dog interact in a positive way with people is going to be the best way for this boy to overcome his fears and start to learn to trust again. Charlies enjoys his walks and a game of chase with his canine pals, so a nice secure garden where he can run off-lead would be ideal.
Type of home needed
Charlie is looking for patient and understanding adopters who already have a confident dog in the home. As Charlie is worried by new people, he will need an adult only home with a limited number of visitors and access to quiet walks away from the hustle and bustle. Potential adopters should be prepared to visit the centre several times before taking Charlie home so that they can build a bond with him. Charlie was found as a stray and may never have lived indoors before, so adopters will need to be prepared to train him, but this lovely boy will have lots of love to give to the people who are willing to give him a chance.
