We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Frank

Centre:
Breed:
Age:
2 to 5 Years
Sex:
Male

Frank doesn't want to relax & put his feet up, if you want a companion to curl up on the sofa with you he isn't your guy. Frank wants to do stuff! He wants to be using his brain and taking on new challenges. He's bold & bullish, he is an act now think later kind of guy. He mixes well with other dogs & is usually happy dealing with new places. Often excitement gets the better of him and it takes time for him to be able to interact calmly & appropriately with new people.

Type of home needed

Frank needs someone to keep him on his toes. He would love to learn some canine sports or further develop his scent work skills. Could you be the one to guide him & teach him how to switch off. Some times relaxing can be nice! He does also have a shy side which sometimes raises it's head so people need to be able to deal with all aspects of his personality. He wants a home with no children under 16yrs and a private garden.

More about me

IMPORTANT: Please provide details on your application regarding the level of training and/or canine sports that you intend to involve Frank in. Failure to do so will mean we cannot consider your application. He will need mutilple meets before going home, during these visits the centre behaviour team will provide advice on how best to help Frank settle in to his new home.To apply to rehome me, please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Frank, who is based at Harefield (West London). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
