In true sighthound style, Arnie is a live wire & a couch potato. He loves to zoom around & then spend the rest of the day reclining. His favourite things are tennis balls & comfy beds! Arnie likes meeting other dogs but would like to be the only dog in the home. He isn't a fan of strangers, but it doesn't take long to win him round.
Type of home needed
Arnie would love a rural or semi-rural home so he can enjoy long walks without having to see too many people. He will need a home with no children under 16yrs and a private garden for zooming around in. A sofa big enough to lounge on is also a must!
More about me
Arnie will need to meet his new family a few times before going home. During the visits, the centre Behaviour Team will make sure new owners know how best to introduce him to new people and help him settle in at home.To apply to rehome me, please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
