Roxy's body may be getting older but her brain certainly isn't. She is a bright and friendly 10 year old who enjoys going for walks and making new friends, canine and human.
Type of home needed
Roxy has some medical needs which will need close monitoring and care for the rest of her life. She does have some mobility issues in her hind legs so will need regular short walks and a home with easy access (no upstairs flats or maisonettes) as well as a home willing to keep up regular ear cleaning. Roxy would love a home with minimal leaving hours and private garden to mooch around in. She could live with another calm dog, but not one who will jump on her or push her around too much. Roxy would also be happy living with children 12 years and above.
More about me
Our vet team will be happy to discuss her medical needs with adopters and the in centre training team can give guidance on how best to get her used to having her ears cleaned and examined. To apply to rehome me, please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
