Finn is an affectionate and playful boy once he knows people and loves to play fetch. He likes to curl up with people on the sofa but likes his own space when resting. He loves his long walks in quiet areas. He is not keen on meeting new people as he finds them quite scary. He is okay to meet other calm dogs but prefers to be the only animal in the home.
Type of home needed
Finn is looking for a quiet home with no to minimal visitors and the ability to separate him from the front door. Due to his worries around people he will need to be on a lead and muzzle whenever he is out in public so he must have direct access to his own secure garden for off lead time. He will need to live in a rural area where he will see a minimal amount of people out on his walks.
More about me
Finn has a lot of love to give but is looking for people who are happy to work with the centre to engage in his training programmes. As Finn will need the time to get to know people any potential adopters need to be happy to make multiple trips to the centre to get to know him.To apply to rehome me, please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
