Thor is a friendly soul with a sensitive side. He can be a little worried by strangers, particularly men so new owners will need to be understanding of this and make multiple visits to build a bond with him. Thor walks nicely with other dogs but isn't particularly interactive with them. He could live with another dog but this is not essential. Thor knows sit and paw and would benefit from learning recall. He enjoys walks but does have a lazy side to him, he is a clever boy and would benefit from mental stimulation as much as exercise. Thor has guarded his food bowl in the home but we have not seen this behaviour here in kennels.
Type of home needed
Thor is looking for owners who have experience of resource guarding. He needs a home which is in a low populated area and has a private garden. Thor could live with another dog but no cats as he does have a chase drive. Once settled, Thor could be left for 4-8 hours with a break as long as this is built up slowly.
More about me
Due to Thor's sensitive nature he asks that his new people will be adult only.
